Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups are meant to bring men and women together in meditation and study of God’s Word and in prayer with and for one another as we seek to follow Jesus. These groups are gender-specific and are facilitated by church members where every person is supported in living out their faith in Christ. 

These groups are typically smaller than Community Groups and allow for more depth of relationship and discussion. The focus of these groups is on Word and prayer, with fellowship being a byproduct of time spent discussing Scripture and praying for one another.

Discipleship Group leaders are fellow learners and members of Portico who oversee the group and help keep it consistent, but may share the responsibility to facilitate and host. These groups are open to newcomers!
