Welcome to Portico U, the teaching ministry of Portico Church Arlington.

Portico U is a learning environment where we seek to benefit from gifted teachers in the church as we actively learn together. As a learning environment, the main goal of Portico U is to equip the church to love God through his beautiful Word. The depths and riches of the Word of God comprise an inexhaustible source of wisdom and beauty that we will spend an eternity coming to understand more fully. In order to achieve this goal, Portico U requires an active posture of engagement where participants are challenging themselves and their friends to grow in the knowledge of the LORD.

Portico U will cover a wide variety of topics, books of the Bible, and “doctrines” that come from Scripture. This will give us a balanced diet and expose all of us to the depth and breadth of God’s revelation. We will also continue to grow together in honing our skills of rightly handling the Word of God as a church as we seek to mature as disciples of Christ.
